The Alku notebook used to be an abandoned merchandise notebook. The notebook is made of recycled paper and now it's cover is decorated with a Globe Hope print. The print has been printed by hand onto a piece of recycled leather taken off a vintage leather jacket. The colours of the leather pieces vary from one book to another. The creme-coloured pages of the note book are lined.
