How can I tighten the clip mechanism of my purse or bag?

It is easy to tighten a ”clip” purse but it has to be done carefully. Take the sides of the purse in your hands and turn one side towards you and the other to the reverse. If you want to tighten the mechanism turn the edges to the direction indicated by the knobs that close the mechanism. Do NOT twist the knobs themselves because they will break if too much pressure is applied. If you want to loosen the mechanism turn the edges of the clip frame to the opposite direction.

I have received a product I’m not happy with. What do I do?

Please give us a call or drop us a line and we’ll sort it out. If you have ordered a product from our webstore you can return it by taking it into the post office with the note “asiakaspalautus”. This allows you to send the product back to us at no cost. NOTE! Please remember to attach your contact info and account umber along with the reason for returning the item.

Can I donate my old sails to Globe Hope?

We will be delighted to take your old sails and recycle them into something cool. You can send the sails straight to us or take them to the sailmaker WB-Sails which can be found in Lauttasaari, Helsinki.

What are the print colours Globe Hope uses?

Most of the Globe Hope products with a print are printed with a silk screen right here at our Nummela headquarters. We use only water-based printing pastes and nature-friendly dyes. A product with a print should always be washed inside-out and ironed on reverse.

What materials does Globe Hope need?

You can learn more about the materials we use in the Materials section. If you have some material that you think might interest us, please give us a call! We’re always on the lookout for new materials that we could use in our production. However, we’re interested in quite large quantities of material and do not accept eg. old clothes – the recycling centre will be happier to receive those! :)
